The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The house had a lovely rural atmosphere, and the beds were comfy. I got great value for my money at The Coffee House. The room was exactly as I expected - cosy, charming, and comfortable. The location was scenic, with a wonderful fusion of a barn/farm building and a city loft. The staff, including the Scottish owner, were friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home. Plus, the property had lovely extras like fresh coffee and teabags.
For breakfast selection, it would have been nice to have more variety.

The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home after a long day. The room and property were exactly as expected - cosy, charming, and comfortable. The building had a unique fusion of a barn/farm and city loft, which was mind-blowing. With only 3 bedrooms, it was nice and quiet, not crowded at all. The spacious kitchen, lounge, and bathroom were jaw-dropping, and I loved waking up and trotting down the wooden steps in the morning. The plentiful extras like fresh coffee, teabags, and other provisions were super convenient. I had a lovely chat with the Scottish owner before leaving, and I'm sure I'll be back one day. The road to the farm was surprisingly well-finished, not just gravel. The mattress was extremely comfortable, with twin beds combined into a double using a topper-style mattress that worked wonders. The cabin I had to myself was excellent value for money, clean, and well-stocked with tea, coffee, milk, and breakfast provisions. The small and cozy bedrooms were perfect, while the common space was comfy and well-lit, with a fully stocked kitchen. The whole facility was spotless, including the bathroom, and the hosts even allowed us to greet and pet their horses. it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this small and cozy farm stay.

Louise and her kids were the most amazing hosts, making me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived. The location of the property on a horse farm was simply stunning, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The shared spaces were enormous and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything I needed. The added convenience of the 24-hour access to the washer and dryer in the reception was a game-changer. The Coffee House served as the perfect base for exploring the southwest of Iceland, from the Golden Circle to the Reykjanes Peninsula, and it was just a stone's throw away from the Sólheimasandur Plane Wreck. The pre-arrival message from the property with directions and instructions was a thoughtful touch. The cabins were cozy, and I had a cabin to myself during my stay. The common spaces were comfortable and well-lit, and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes. Everything was impeccably clean, and the value for money was excellent. it was a jaw-dropping experience, and I would highly recommend this farm stay to anyone seeking a small, cozy retreat in nature.

The rooms at The Coffee House are cozy and comfortable, making you feel right at home. I loved having a kitchen equipped with a microwave in certain rooms. It made it easy to prepare quick meals during my stay. The shared bathroom in the rooms was always clean and well-maintained, which was a pleasant surprise. This double room had a toaster, tea/coffee maker, and stovetop, making it convenient for preparing breakfast. The tumble dryer in this double room was a bonus, allowing me to dry my clothes quickly and hassle-free. Every room at the hostel had a kettle, great for enjoying a cup of tea in the mornings or evenings.
The fact that the rooms had a shared bathroom was the only downside for me, but some guests may not mind it.

Loved hiking and fishing nearby. The shared lounge was an absolute delight, especially when I had to fight for a seat. And the icing on the cake? Free private parking! Woohoo!
Oh, and let's not forget the garden! It was such a hassle to find a spot to park my car and enjoy a little greenery at the same time.
